30 Years of Sweater Logos

Sweater logos have changed at least a dozen times during the three decades the Mustangs have existed. The one main feature has always been a horse except from 2003-2005. The horse was adopted as it was George Mosher’s Ford dealership that was the team’s original sponsor and it represented the Ford Mustang, hence the horse is running from right to left. The horse began as a red galloping horse, later a black tail and mane was added, and later still became a white horse, and again later became a series of three blue galloping horses, and most recently became a horse’s head by 2005. The horseshoe was originally white, later became blue for seven years, and then most recently became a silver colour for eight seasons. The Canadian Tire red triangle symbol was incorporated into the design for eight years changing three times in design.
